The Quick Dredge:

The Quick Dredge Series is ECTMarine’s smallest and most versatile dredger. It comes in two different configurations, which can also be combined in one vessel. Configurations

Both configurations combine to create a transportable dredger that is capable of dredging in a wide range of soils, applications and dredging depths. The Quick Dredge series has been improved and modified over the years to be even more versatile and transportable than its predecessor. This dredger can now be transported in a single container and is available for a wide range of applications with matching accessories.

The Quick Mining Dredge

The Quick Mining Dredge is a plain suction version that is used in applications such as sand mining, tailings dredging etc, in environments that contain free flowing soils.

The Quick Cutter Dredge

The Quick Cutter Dredge includes a cutterhead with a power of 15 kW for dredging of more compact soils.

Standard Features

See hereunder the standard features that make the Quick Dredge a compact and effective dredging tool that is fit for a wide range of dredging applications

STANDARD FEATURE

Jet water function

This is included as a standard in the plain suction head. Additionally, an extra jet option is included that can be utilized in a “jet lance” which has an added capability to loosen the soil before the plain suction head excavates and transports the mixture to the discharge area. The added jet water is also used as an extra feature on the cutter head configuration. Here two nozzels are situated on the outside of the cutter so it has extra power to loosen any compacted soils.

STANDARD FEATURE

Cutter head

The Quick Dredge is multifunctional and can be fitted as plain suction dredger but also as a cutter dredger. The power on the cutter is 15 kW. The teeth are replaceable and locked in place by a pin. The cutter is designed and made for maximum performance.

The dredge pump

In the heart of the dredger sits The Dredge pump. The pump is of a reputed design made of high wear resistant material. The pump is selected on quality, performance and the availability of spares. Maintainability and robustness are of the utmost importance as these dredgers often work in remote places. The added jet water is also used as an extra feature on the cutter head configuration. Here two nozzels are situated on the outside of the cutter so it has extra power to loosen any compacted soils.

The Drive-Train

The drive-train consists of the engine, gearbox and coupling. These parts are selected for durability and reliability as well as performance. The configuration is basic to ensure continuity and easy maintenance.

The Controls

The controls are simple and effective for a one-man operation. The pump is clutched mechanically, and the levers are directly mounted on the hydraulics so to make the whole system “bulletproof”, easy to use and maintainable by a basic mechanic.

The Hydraulic System

The hydraulic system is powered by two gear pumps attached to the front end of the engine. The pumps power all the moving parts on the dredger. The hydraulics are controlled directly with no electrics in between to simplify the system and make the system more durable and easier to maintain.

Easily transported

The Quick dredge is designed to be flexible and easy to mobilize. The complete dredge can be transported in containerized dimensions. This makes small dredge projects and quick deployments easy.

Stage V compliant

For projects in Europe, the dredger can be fitted with a Stage V compliant engine to comply with EU regulations.
